Will GE Buy PTC?

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO - Dennis Nagy, head of BeyondCAE and industry veteran, predicted to those assembled for the joint CIC2104/NAFEMS 2014 show that GE will acquire PTC. Dennis was later to admit he had no real insider knowledge of this acquisition. However, what might be pure conjecture is worthy of consideration:

1. Siemens (likened to the GE of Europe) acquired a major CAD company with UGS in 2007
2. PTC has been seen as an acquisition target as early as 2009 (see DATAMONITOR report)
