SolidWorks 2007 Sneak Preview

You can get a preview of SolidWorks 2007 on the SolidWorks web site (click here). Highlights include SWIFT (SolidWorks Intelligent Feature Technology), Design Checker, Sketch Blocks, advanced assembly mechanisms, and more. Videos accompany the highlights. Some of these items were previewed at SolidWorks World 2006 (the annual user meeting, see CADdigest.com article) but as far as I know, this is the first time SolidWorks has been mentioned on the corporate website.

Somehow all this material got on the SolidWorks website earlier than expected -- although only by a few hours. SolidWorks is "officially" announcing SolidWorks 2007 tomorrow to the assembled press (myself included) at their company headquarters near Boston, MA.
