Actify Changes Management

After TenLinks got the news that Actify Names David Opsahl as CEO, Chris Jones as President, we inquired what happened to Randy Ochs, previoulsy Actify's president and CEO, and Lynne Saunders, previously head of marketing. Both are no longer with Actify and it was confirmed that Ochs and Saunders were the only ones to leave.

Although it was initially reported that it was a board decision to "change leadership to take the company through this next stage," David Opsahl called to correct this statement with the following:

Randy Ochs resigned his position with the company. In light of his resignation, I was asked to come back to the company and along with Chris Jones, continue to implement the strategy that Randy had put in place.

Transitions like this are always difficult and are ideal opportunities for confusion. We do have a change in leadership -- that much is true. However, Randy was responsible for heading up the digital design communication strategy for which Actify has received many accolades and there are no plans to deviate from that strategy. Randy's contributions to Actify's current success are many and considerable, and we all wish him well in his new endeavors.

Both Ochs and Saunders have been stripped from the company's website, which only mentions Opsahl and Jones in the current management team.

Comments

I have no juicy gossip on this except that Randy and Lynne are normally regulars at COFES but they did not register or attend this year. We had been wondering what was up.
